Looking for a urologist

Hi,

I'm looking for a good urologist in the Pattaya area, rather in a clinic as in one of the big hospitals.
Does anybody have a recommendation?

The street clinics in Pattaya don't offer much in the way of specialities. If its something you reckon might be serious you really should visit one of Pattaya's private hospitals, good luck.

If you decide on Bangkok-Pattaya Hospital you can try Dr. Jimmy K or Dr.Pornchai C. You will find info on them at the Hospital's website.

I agree with the above post that you will not likely find a true urologist at any small clinic in Pattaya ..... I personally have consulted with Dr Pornchai Chayaboon at Bangkok Hospital ..... found him to be highly professional, good command of English and successfully treated my malady.

I agree with comments posted re Dr. Pornchai Chayaboon at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya. IMO he is extremely competent and as mentioned, his English is very good. He has treated me for a few things including an enlarged prostate over a period of a few years starting with medication that helped for a while, but eventually had to have a surgical procedure, which he performed. I have recommended him to several others and all were very satisfied with his care.

Could you please expand on what the actual surgical procedure involved and what were the results after surgery. I am now in a position where I don't think I have any choice but to undergo surgery and the whole idea is making me very nervous.
