It been standard and I really wanna change that. I think that is fair money if the boy really pleases...but I had some who didn't and I like to start giving them less.

Usually sex is ok, but not so good that I would take the same boy again. How about telling them exactly what will please you and offering them more than 1000 if you are really pleased. Make a game of it. I think offering more for exactly what you want works better than offering less because you decide performance is average.

I generally pay 1000 st and 1500 lt. I don't have any problem telling the boy what I like to do and if he agrees everything should be fine. I am not going to pay more just because he does what I want and if it did not meet expectations I would still pay my full amount and write it off to experience unless it was very very poor.

A good rule of thumb in Pattaya is 1000 short time, 1500 overnight , manly guys are less likely to opt for overnight. Your best bet is Gayromeo, you can get an Idea of what they look like and they will state on there profile what they will do. I make sure he knows before we leave that non-performance will result in his being asked to leave, I tell them leave with nothing, but do usually still give them something maybe 300B, coz to be honest, by the time their inability to perform as discussed is discovered I have probably molested them thoroughly for my own satisfaction. I have heard this many times and wonder why, what makes a go-go boy worth more than a bar boy??? By the time they and you have had a couple of drinks and you've paid the (often in BKK) more expensive off fee they've cost you quite a few baht anyway.
Maybe an over-inflated sense of worth because you paid more to off them. I suppose in a go-go you've seen more of their physical attributes than you will see of a fully clad beer bar boy. But a subtle grope in a beer bar will give you an idea of size and erection probabilities. A grope of a go-go boy may result in a hard cock, but unless he's particularly proud of his meat he wont want to be seen with a hard-on in his white briefs.
