I went there (I think September last year). RCA = Royal City Avenue. They had something like "Sport Man Show" (or similar), but it started quite late (shirtless boys on stage after 2am, before only music). There are plenty of other bars in that soi.

to add to der Chris: he is right as such, but be aware that RCA was and firmly is hetero=str8 and also mainly very young and too rich thai hi-so kids. Just 1-2 homo=gay clubs have started there the last 2 yrs or so, of which Castro is 1. It appears they are doing quite well.
I would say applies even more as the Lamsalee bars: go not alone, find an interested Thai and do not be too old. Put expectations low for contats and expect the usual overliud noise and whisky by the bottle table-dancing set.
Often havey police presence and random druggie-tests etc.
Alternatives are Lamsalee= end of ramkamhaeng near Bangkapi, OToKo bars near weekendmarket and the few-moved recently along Ratchda.
