If you book a suite somewhere, or even a big room - make your own party.

Just go to any dark room in a sauna.

But consider, as ChristianPFC puts it: "In a darkroom you can have have sex with people you wouldn't want to have sex with in light".

OK I'll play.

Yes, go to a sauna. You could get lucky.

I've had lots of sex parties in my room in Pattaya. Trouble is, I'm always alone :crybaby:

And if you get really lucky you could find yourself there.

LOL Arsenal... So cynical.

If you book a suite somewhere, or even a big room - make your own party.
Not that I've ever had myself a naked sex party but I reckon the Executive Deluxe Plus Room in the Hilton Pattaya would be the ultimate place for it... I've stayed in it three times.

It's a massive room. The balcony's big enough for a small party and outdoor bathtub is big enough to fit four. You get a big, comfy daybed on the balcony and a smaller one inside. The shower opens up onto the balcony so it's like an outdoor shower. I love it. Comes complete with a stunning high-rise ocean view. No other hotel in Pattaya comes near matching it.

Just one thing... start filling the bathtub early because the water pressure's low (hotel makes stupid attempts to be green) and it takes hours to fill.

The room's about $300/night but worth every dollar. Also a great romantic getaway from Bangkok without having to fly.

Get naked and cool down under the semi-outdoor shower (rain shower head above)...

Order a bottle of champagne, slip into the huge outdoor tub and enjoy the view...

Make sweet love on the day bed...

Put on some music and order up drinks from the bar...

The room...

It even has a small walk in closet so you can slide close the door and keep all your stuff out of site.

It's a shame Bangkok doesn't have anything similar within this price range...

At $300 a night I'd be expecting someone to immediately pick the towels off the floor, and mop up those puddles.

that hilton room looks the business tho- that outside tub (is it a normal tub or jacuzzi BL??? )would be a perfect, abs perfect for a small party!!!!
- but whats the Hilton like as regards mulitple guests in the one room??

I have a jaccuzzi in my own place thats fits 3 (4 a tight sqeeze once!! ) and I have found the thai boys love going into it - (i have found it hard to get some of them to come out of the damm. thing lol)- and the positions you can get into using the water opens it up for a lot of fun - and even the shyest of guys really come out of their shell once in the water -

Its hard on electric tho if you use it a lot (last months elec bill was 10300b, water bill was 1070 ) :party :bounce:

Hilton is a great place if you don't want to sleep at night and party until the wee hours of the morning. I checked out after less than 12 hours because of the loud music coming from the bars at beach road which kept me from sleeping until 5 am. Horrible place for me!

Don't some of the Saunas have naked night? I know many of them have a large dark room where a group can have sex but unless you bring a flashlight it could end up being Farang on Farang action :pale:

I expect air conditioning in the corridors and decent sized floor towels too but you can't always have it perfect...

and for someone who calls pattaya shitsville .. its not the sort of place id imagine one would take a lover for a romatic break ..
I agree... but yet, I've taken my last three boyfriends there.

It's just a really spectacular hotel. Ticks all the boxes with a few sexy extras. The pool is the best I've seen in any city hotel and the big spacious and private high-rise balcony with bathtub is a big bonus. Can't describe how nice it is to strip off and make love outside with a nice cool breeze flowing over you and a spectacular view as a backdrop. Then slip into the hot bathtub together (it can get chilly up there at night). As Martin says, you can get into some nice positions with the tub... mmm good memories. Quite private as it's high up and the aluminium cladding around the balcony is cleverly angled to offer privacy but not block the view.

It's luxury living, 30 levels above Shitsville... a stimulating contrast to what's below.

I guess it's a good option when you want to take a break from Bangkok but don't want to fly anywhere or drive as far as Hua Hun. But the Hilton is about the only thing that makes it attractive for me. If Pattaya didn't have the Hilton, I would've just made the extra effort to fly somewhere or drive down to Hua Hin.

you never leave anything in sight do you ??
No... I'm the opposite of a slob and most of my boyfriends have been pretty neat guys. Toiletries laid out in the bathroom, a pair of jeans hanging on a chair, laptop and phone on the table are about all I leave lying around rooms I stay in. Everything else goes in the closet or suitcase where it belongs. Usually takes me 3 minutes to pack before check out.

that hilton room looks the business tho
First time I stayed it was called a "Deluxe Plus Room"... in that you did not get exec lounge access unless you paid more for the "Deluxe Executive Plus Room".

I think since then, they decided to change it so the room is only available as an exec deluxe plus room and not as a normal room. But I didn't notice the price going up when this happened (though I may be wrong) so in effect, I think you're just paying the same amount for the same room with exec lounge thrown in.

is it a normal tub or jacuzzi BL???
Normal bathtub, which is a shame... Couldn't understand why they don't make them jacuzzis until your point about electricity. That makes sense. The place is overly obsessed with being green and reducing energy costs.

whats the Hilton like as regards mulitple guests in the one room??
Second and third times I stayed there, I checked in with my boyfriend (different boyfriends each time hehehe) so obviously no problems.

First time I stayed there, my boyfriend had to work so he didn't arrive until the third night. I had already requested an extra key for him so didn't bother registering him when he got there. Had no problem with that the whole time. Also, on one of the first two nights when my BF wasn't there, I went out to NAB and met a bunch of locals who invited me to drink at their table, mostly hotel staff. After it closed, I invited them back to my room for a few drinks and to watch the sunrise. Three of them stripped off (undies) and got in the tub. Was an awesome after party!

There were five in total plus me and we had no problems walking past reception... no one stopped us.

The only time I had issues with noise is when we slept with the balcony sliding doors wide open to let in a nice natural, cool breeze a few times. With the doors shut, it's fine. But then I was always on a fairly high floor. I guess it might be different 10-15 floors down.

Shot of the pool area from above... It's such a nice place to lounge around all day. They've got a decent bar and great service.

I found those cabana loungers towards the tip of the pool are the nicest ones... Quite private and you can sort of make out and no one will see you unless they're swimming past.

I stayed twice during the low season and once during highish, but not peak season... I recall the rate for that room was always around the 10,000 baht/night region. I think they have cheaper rooms from 6,000 or 7,000 but it's worth paying extra for this room IMHO.

Has anyone tried the Marriott in Pattaya as well as the Hilton? Not interested in staying there as it looks old and doesn't seem to have any sort of view but I'm curious how the two compare. They're pretty much the only two centrally located 5-stars in Pattaya.

Are they really cheap mail-order ones Beachy - or 6XL?

It's just I can't imagine that if they were 24" waist and cost $1000 you wouldn't be anxious to let us know that fact (all the damned time).

Tall buildings bother me a bit.
Stayed in a place in Silom with rooftop pool
and I was more than a bit uncomfortable near the edge.

Still not at ease about the standards of construction I guess.

One hotel on Petchaburi, BKK had two wings
connected at each floor by an aluminum enclosed walkway.
I walked very carefully across each way to/from my room.
(First House Hotel)

The Jomtien hotel with the cable car ride up
~62 stories by aluminum cab was sheer terror
as a breeze wafted and the pulleys squeaked.
I hugged a steel I-beam for minutes
once it was over, and wasn't real thrilled on
the elevator ride back down either.

That's Pattaya Park. I can go anywhere, I am not afraid of hights. But my Thai friend whom I had with me, he chickened out on going down on the cable and chose the cabin instead.

you didn't use the handlebars and harness going down the cable?

and those overhanging balconies on high rises.
then add a bathtub. Let's see. three-four people,
550 pounds, 50 gallons of water @ 8.33 lbs/gal,
6 feet of torque on the end, steel rerod exposed to salt air
through unsealed deficient grade concrete...

(edit my last post: heights, not hights)

I dressed in a harness and went down on the rope:

My friend (in the picture) chose the cable car. Details see here:
