Weekend Market Chatuchat market

I know the market is basically open only on
Saturdays and Sundays...
Is one still able to enter on weekdays and some of the shops
are open for business?

Basically, no. According to their website, the plants and flowers section is open Wednesday and Thursday and there is a wholesale market on Friday but for the Chatuchak experience of the teeming retail market you need to go at the weekend.

A suggestion. If you are thinking of going in the near future, go early in the morning. I'd be aiming to be there by 7.00 in the morning and leave around 10.00. It gets very, very hot in Chatuchak in any season and with the heat and humidity in Bangkok at this time of year, it can be really unbearable in the later part of the day.

I don't think you will find many stalls open at 7 AM. The Market does not get going until 10 AM.
