Hi guys, wondering if any of you electronically knowledgeable can help me with
info about either purchasing a 24" monitor and bringing from the States or buying in
Thailand? I am told electronics are 50% costlier in Thailand.
Also can one purchase a Smart TV in Thailand or again bring from the States?
I am somewhat useless with such stuff.

Donald there are several brands of all size televisions and are very reasonable. I purchased mine at Power Buy which is in the rear part of Home Works. I am sure there are other places also cheap. I would suggest a place like MBK or Tukom because everyone is competing within a small area and therefore the price wars are galore.

donald,

You can buy SMART TV's in Thailand as well as 21-24" monitors...

Last october I purchased a 46" Samsung SMART TV from Big C, South Pattaya
approx. 27,000 Thai baht...we shopped around and found them at HomeWorks
and elsewhere...ended up at BigC because they had it in stock at same price as HomeWorks.

It is great!

Go to TukCom on South Pattaya Rd and many name brand monitors....good prices too.
