Car from Airport to Pattaya?

A member has just asked me about reliable transportation from the Airport to Pattaya. Cost and whom. Is the one everyone is basically using still Mr Toom or have any of you found another one more reliable.

More expensive than some others yes, but whe reliability counts the extra cost and comfort is worth it.

There are plenty of taxis at the airport, I am sure any of them could take you to Pattaya? This way, you don't have to book someone and meet him somewhere. (Just some thoughts, I always use the bus from the airport to Pattaya.)

At the beginning of April, Image Limo was 2,800 for the Suvarnabhumi-Pattaya trip, and they require advance payment online through PayPal.

I have also used image, in the past . some times, but 2800 bht is now getting a bit steep

I always use Mr. T (not the same as Mr. Toom). 1000Bt from airport to Pattaya. This is his email:

I have switched from Mr T to Mr. Toom, and have been very happy with my decision. Much better service at same price.

Emails are answered promptly and driver waiting at door 3 of BKK with my name on a sign. 1200 Baht BKK to Pattaya, includes all tolls. 1000 baht Pattaya to BKK.

No issue with drivers ability. Limited English.

I agree that 2,800 is high when most will take you between the airport and Patts fr 1,000 - 1,500 and return for about 800 - 1,000.

i never book, just hop into the 1st taxi...have never been charged more than 1400...including all tolls.

I always use thelimopattaya.com. I think they usually charge me 2400 bt round trip
