If the "pink" dollar was organised in Thailand/ Pattaya ! Not just go go bars and host bars,or business built around the sex industry,but retail stores,grocery stores, dentists,doctors, etc etc, i.e. a complete gay focused functioning community. Not to the point where it would exclude the straight community,they would certainly be welcome but essentially where we would,could support gay businesses and services.
I realise this is just wishful thinking,but if it became a reality,imagine the political clout it would command. Lets say a designated area in Pattaya where a gay community exists alongside the general community.
It has been done before,Oxford street in Sydney , a number of US cities for example.
As it is at the moment in LOS gay tourist and residents are not utilising their full economic/ political muscle. Your thoughts ?
