I called into London to see a few shows on the way home , and for the last show went to Victoria Palace to see Billy Elliot ,yet again.

The entire area looks a wreck. What has happened to the area. So much has gone or is going. THE VP is standing alone and still selling tickets to end of year, as normal.

I asked what the plans were for the Victoria Palace and area, and have got mixed replies. Some say the VP will close maybe Xmas.

Others say the show will move to another theater and some have suggested the show might tour.

Is there a website that keeps up to date with this area?

I would like more info.

That whole are is being rebuilt and there is at least a decade of redevelopment to look forward to.

Ceejay thanks for that very relevant piece of info. I have had a number of emails from several sources who have given different stories based on whispers, or putting 2+2 together and getting 19.

Your detailed info is exactly what I was looking for.

It is two years since I visited last, I had walked down Buckingham Palace and then Bressenden Place and did not realize how big the changes were. This time walking from Victoria staggered me.

It is great news that the Victoria Palace and Duke of York will stay open for some time at least.
