pattaya to siem reap

Have just been told of a new airline due to fly from pattaya to siem reap. Is this fact or just another rumor?

According to the UTP wiki and this press release Tonlesap Airlines is supposed to be flying the route. But it does not appear on their schedule on their website which looks to be out of date anyway.

A quick check of ExpertFlyer doesn't show any flights between those two airport. I thought I saw an article about some other airline (maybe a charter) flying a few times per week.

If you don't want the mini van solution across the border, the best way to go to Siem Reap is still flying with Bangkok Airways. From time to time you will se some entreperneurs making PR for a direct flight PTY - REP but so far no one have been able to make it a profittable flight.
