Although Mr Kobchai said that Friday Sept 29 had been tentatively given the green light, this was denied by Dr Suwat Wanisubut, director of the Office of the Suvarnabhumi Airport Development Committee, who said that it was "impossible". He then projected a date in December. {Mr Kobchai is Thai AirwaysтАЩ senior executive vice-president for corporate planning and information technology services}

Im sure theres been a debate on the effects the new airport will have on bangkok/pattaya etc.......

anyone remember where it is? too many airport topics in search lol

I passed the new airport 2 times and don't know what all the fuss is about it won't reduce time more than 20 minutes to Pattaya I think. The airport is just outside Bangkok.

The new Bangkok air port will be From the 1st to 30th of ---------- 2006.
And the taxi fares will be the same or more to Pattaya.
