Couldn't think of a thread to stick this quite cool photo, so starting a new one is my only option.

I post this for absolutely no other reasons except that:

(1) I like the photo immensely

(2) It makes me smile, and I thought it might make some of you to do the same. Could any guy but a Thai guy get away with that little silk bow tied up under the chin?

(3) I was feeling uncharacteristicaly morose this morning because the man in this picture is not right here beside me!

This sweet man makes me deliriously happy ... and I just felt like saying that ... outloud!!

Cheers ... that's it and thanks for your indulgence. I shall not partake of such selfishness for another 6 months.

That camera strap need to be shorten a bit to avoid any unexpected forward motion and the following opposite equal opposite motion.

Can anyone tell me why Thais look good in any hat. Whatever it is, however bizarre Thai men can wear it with panache and style. Very sexy!!

THAT smile and those teeth were featured during a prominent advertising campaign in Indonesia for a well known brand of toothpaste

We hope also that it will be adorning many more campaigns for Tourism Indonesia during this year

I don't know how to post images like above.
What do you think about this guy ?

I think it is the most important thread on the board. It is the reason we are here. How wonderful it is when one is so overwhelmed by simple joyful exuberance that it cannot be contained.

Most of us have hundreds of straight acquaintances. How many of them are as happy as we -- maybe one or two percent? I cannot imagine anyoneтАЩs being happier. I too must exult.

IтАЩll not post my friendтАЩs photo as I donтАЩt want to infringe his privacy, but he is solid gold. He takes care of the finances, the computer problems, all lifeтАЩs irritations, and I sail through life on a placid sea. In the five years we have been together we have never even started down the path to a cross word. What forbearance he must possess.

Ours is not a fifty-fifty relationship, itтАЩs a seventy-seventy relationship.

DonтАЩt misconstrue this as bragging, for I know that finding him was pure, blind luck.

Geezer I certainly didn't read your post as bragging. It is wonderful to read of people's love for thailand and its people. It sounds like you have a relationship to be proud of, so yes, shout it from the hills!

Just for the record ~ this issue has come up before ~ my guy knows about this message board (though he would never post or read here!) and how long I have enjoyed time spent here. I asked him specifically if he objected to the odd photo of him being posted, and he heartily approves! Along with his numerous excellent character traits, a certain smidgen of vanity is also part of the package :D

Having said that: I certainly understand & respect the other side of this coin.

Cheers ...
