Bird Watching - Pattaya

Has anyone been bird watching in / around Pattaya?

Close to Si Racha there is the Bang Pra Non-hunting Area which is billed as being a good place to do some bird watching? This is close the Khao Khieo Zoo.

Has anyone been to this area?

Does anyone know of a good Thai guide that would provide bird watching outings for a reasonable fee?

I will be in Pattaya Jan 15 to March 10.

I have been there. Not too many birds but there is one, a beautiful black bird with a long elegant tail. The open zoo is a treasure trove and boasts the second largest aviary in Asia.
