Wanting to do something different in BKK on the 5th of Dec ?

i came across this whilst surfing the net and thought it just might be of interest for those looking for something a bit different to do on the 5th of December if in Bangkok.

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) are organizing a steam train trip from Hua Lamphong Station in Bangkok to Ayutthaya. This will take place on Wednesday 5th December to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty the King.The special trip will start at 8 a.m. from Hualamphong Station and return from Ayutthaya at 4.30pm. Tickets are available for 500 passengers at stop stations тАУ Hua Lamphong, Samsen, Bang Sue, Bang Khen, Don Mueang, Lak Si and Bang Pa-in. The round-trip ticket price is 140 baht.

I have been told by a friend who bought a ticket at Hua Lamphong Station in BKK, that she bought the LAST TICKET ..... so it seems that it is sold out ....... but then, TIT ........ better check for yourself rather than assume that this is true ..... lmaybe they will add another car if it can sell more tickets.
