Benjamin Law is a man of many minorities. A gay Asian living in Brisbane; a comic writer covering serious issues; a PhD-qualified Meryl Streep fan. His writing can be confronting, but in conversation heтАЩs like a lovely girlfriend, filling in the gaps, laughing at your lame jokes, helpfully finishing your disjointed sentences for you, and finally apologising, unnecessarily, if heтАЩs been a bit rambly with his answers.
