Can anyone tell me if there is a place in Bangkok that has decent Pastrami?

Are you living in BKK or just a turist, since you want a Pastrami?

This is the problem. I don't know of any in Bangkok and I've been living here five years.

Found this that may interest you. I have not eaten there and have no other knowledge, but maybe worth a shot....

A super thanks to you. I did check it out and they are temporarily out of pastrami. Perhaps they will get more in the future.

Again, Thanks!

I thought the expat English pining for Fish and Chips or Tripe and Onions was bad enough - but a thread dedicated to where to buy pastrami?

:evil4:

Well it's ok SG, we wouldn't think you would understand it. :occasion9:

If you are coming to Pattaya there is a place down here.

Listen, we Scots know all about Pastrami ok.

It's pre-packed in the cold-meat aisle of every Angus McHamish supermarket - just across from the display of freshly-trapped Haggis.

freshly-trapped Haggis.

What is Haggis? I've heard the term before but don't have any idea what it is.

My two favorite quotes from that article:

"According to one poll, 33% of American visitors to Scotland believed haggis to be an animal."

And

" Haggis is also used in a sport called haggis hurling, which involves throwing a haggis as far as possible."

I think if I had one, I'd hurl.

Good idea, but I don't know if I would even want to touch it to hurl it if I knew what it was!! You know?? Come to think of it, have you ever heard of a Scottish Restaurant??? If they eat shit like this, no wonder!!
