Trip report Pattaya 01.01.2012-05.01.2012

Sunday 01.01.2012 Pattaya
I stayed overnight at my friendтАЩs place. Nothing planned for the day, so we go (i.e. walk) to Buddha Hill. After that, we go to Pratamnak beach (or Asia Beach, the beach next to the Asia Hotel?). The beach has rocks on both sides, so you cannot walk from Jomtien beach to Pattaya beach on the shore (I have been wondering about that a long time).

On our way back, we stop a Farang friendтАЩs place (large condo building near Buddha Hill, with a pool). My friend is in Thailand for holiday and stays there for free, because it belongs to a friend who has several condos in Thailand. Why donтАЩt I have such friends? We have dinner and separate.
I go bar hopping in Boyztown. I donтАЩt care about bars for breeders, but Obsessions looks derelict:

Splash boys, Cupidol, Happy Place, Toy Boys, X-Boys. Who is sitting two places left to me? M with whom I spent the previous day (and the night preceding that day) in company of a Farang who sits between us. Calling me a butterfly! But the difference is: I sleep around for fun, he to make a living.
To my right is sitting another Farang who after stretching rests his arm on the seat back and then proceeds to caress my back and down to my thigh. I donтАЩt object, you never know, he might pay my drink and tip me. (This is no invitation to forum members to do the same тАУ unless you intend to pay my drink and tip me.) Well, he didnтАЩt. He is from Dubai (but looks rather black African to me) and more interested in White boys than Thai boys. He asks me where Sunee Plaza is (I later learned that he has been to Pattaya many times тАУ this was a ruse to get my attention!). I intended to go to Sunee anyway, so we go together. To avoid any later disappointment and not to send out any false signals, I tell him he is not my type. We go to Euro Boys and New Sawadee Boys. We get the last two empty seats in New Sawadee Boys, the bar is full, most boys are sitting with customers, I donтАЩt remember seeing anything similar before. There is one very cute boy whom I saw outside several times the previous days. He is fully clothed, but I can see tattoos on his neck, arm and leg, so I assume the rest of his body is covered as well. Bummer! That makes him un-offable. There is a Thai sitting next to me who could be could be working in the bar, but turns out to be a customer. Not my type, but I am getting closer to hooking up with a customer in a bar. Question: if that happens, do we owe the bar one or two off-fees? I go home alone.
Monday 02.01.2012 Pattaya Gems Gallery
I meet M and his friend D and we have lunch together. D is cute, and M notices that I have an interest in D, but I donтАЩt proceed. The day before, I arranged pick-up from Nong Noch Garden at HowardтАЩs for 14:30. We sit there at 14:15 when my friend gets a call: his friend needs the key for their place. ItтАЩs just enough time to walk there and get back in time. However, some conversation ensues. I am well aware that we will be late and assume M is aware as well. I think it will be fine, they will be late or wait for us; anyway, M is Thai and if he doesnтАЩt press me for return it will be fine. We are back at HowardтАЩs 14:45, Nong Noock pick-up has left without us. Furthermore, the receptionist has lost face, they cannot arrange a further pick up for the following day. Everything was well planned, now I need a quick idea how to spend the day.
I havenтАЩt been to Gems Gallery and OTOP, itтАЩs low on my list, but this is the chance. We take Baht-bus to Dolphin roundabout and walk the remaining part. We get lanyard with group number and a personal guide. The walk through the museum part is quick, the focus is on the show (and sell-) room. The stuff looks nice, but I donтАЩt wear jewelery and have no intention to buy some for others. After a few inquires, we can go back to the museum part, where they have some interesting samples and information about mining and processing of gems. We leave without purchase and continue to OTOP which is adjacent. Nothing special.
Nothing planned for the rest of the afternoon, so I take this occasion to walk back from Gems Gallery to Sunee. This can be seen as a durability test for possible future boyfriends as well. My future boyfriend has to be able to walk 10 km in Thailand during daytime without complaining about the sun, the heat, being bored or tired or wanting to sit. M lasts only 500 m: тАЬMy leg hurts!тАЭ. But he is just lazy, with some motivation, we make all the way back to HowardтАЩs by foot.
We decide to go to cinema. On the way, I asked some questions about D (the cute boy from lunch). Mistake! Tuesday 03.01.2012 Pattaya
We have breakfast together and part. I go to an internet caf├й and log into gayromeo. N is online. A week ago, meeting in Bangkok failed, but now both of us are in Pattaya. He stays not far from Sunee. We meet on the street and go to Wat Chai Monkol.

I went past many times, but I never went in. We return to my room and have some fun. He asks me for 300 Baht for a haircut, which I give him. My first date set up on camfrog: successful!
For the evening, I meet T whom I know from my previous holiday. We meet at a 7/11 next to his place and then I have a look at his place. There is very little overlap regarding our preferences for underwear. He is horny, but I prefer to have dinner and go out first. We have dinner at a restaurant in Naklua where we are the only customers. T used the chance to sing for me while we wait for our food. The food is served on a plate heated by burning spirit. The boiling gets to strong, so the waiter removes the burner and some burning alcohol is poured over table and floor. But there is no other flammable material around, we just have to wait a few seconds until it goes out.
We continue to NAB (arrive 00:15). My friend orders a 3 liter tower of beer. Oh my good! Who is going to drink all this? But in order not to waste any drop, I help him. We leave at 3:35. I am a bit tipsy (this is the already the second time in this century that I am tipsy!) and my friend a bit more. We take Baht-bus back to Sunee. He suddenly starts тАЬI love youтАЭ, whereupon I reply тАЬI like you tooтАЭ. I donтАЩt get all this тАЬI love youтАЭ bullshit, how can you love someone you have only met a few times? But he is well aware of the difference and wants me to confirm my love for him. I donтАЩt. He refuses to come with me, so we say goodbye and he takes a motorcycle back home. тАЬFuck first, talk laterтАЭ has hit again! But I have a no-lies policy and I wonтАЩt tell any Thai boy I love him unless itтАЩs true, even if I miss a fuck!
Wednesday 04.01.2012 Pattaya Park
I meet M again and we take a Baht-bus to Pattaya Park. Or rather the entrance of the soi that leads there. Due to an error on the map I use, we walk almost until Jomtien beach until I realize there is no second soi leading to Pattaya Park. Well, at least I can say that I walked all the way from North Pattaya Bus Station to Jomtien Beach on this holiday, albeit cut into three parts. We take a ride on the monrail and then proceed to the tower. Entry 300 Baht for Farang and 150 Baht for Thai, with free choice how to descend: single on the rope or in the cabin. I sign us both in for descend on the rope, but my friend chickens out and goes with the cabin.

We meet back on the ground, near the beach volleyball field north of the gay beach. I want to walk on the shore (to have a look whatтАЩs going on at the gay beach), my friend prefers the main way (so I donтАЩt get distracted?). We say good bye and separate (canтАЩt please anyone, have to say no now and then).
Not long, and my phone rings. M wants to meet me at the southern end of Jomtien Beach. So we do, after I checked out if there is anything at the gay beach. We talk and I suggest I go to Themae Sauna and meet him later at night. He doesnтАЩt like the idea of me going to the sauna, so we say goodbye again. I give him 500 Baht and a minature Eiffel tower. Long discussion ensues, the Eiffel tower changes hands a few times, finally lands back in my hands. The bad talking on SGT jinxed it! We separate, I go to the sauna. Only few customers and a few boys, occasionally I was the only customer. They had nice Asian twink porn, the best porn I have ever seen in a sauna. M calls again to me the following day at 12.
I return to Pattaya and do some bar hopping: Eros, Tom Yum and Lucky 7. On my way back from Boyztown to Sunee, at the market near Wat Chai, I walk past a cute Thai boy in female company and our eyes meet. I look back once, so does he. I look back again, so does he. I pluck up all my courage and go back and ask him where he is going. He and his sister are on the way to a bar on Walking Street (ZAP, live Isaan music) for drinking and dancing, so I join them. Stay in the bar 0:15 тАУ 1:45. Then itтАЩs time for us (the boy and I) to go back to my hotel.
Thursday 05.01.2012 Pattaya
I wake up around 11. One hour time for some fun with P. Helas! Not long and my mobile phone vibrates: M! I ignore and continue. He calls again. This is the maximum of disturbance I can endure. Around 11:30, M calls from the reception (which means the phone in the room rings and I canтАЩt ignore it any more). I give up. I have to talk to him and get another 30 minutes to pack and say goodbye to P (and get him out of my room without M noticing). The only time a Thai friend was early, when I was busy with another Thai friend! P is taking a shower when M knocks on the door. He demands entry, so I let him in. This will not end well, two Thai boys fighting in my hotel room over my wallet!
P comes back from the bathroom and dresses. M (usually docile) suddenly turns bossy: тАЬGive him 1000 BahtтАЭ which I do, тАЬgive me 500 BahtтАЭ which I do. We have lunch together and everything is fine: talking, joking, exchanging contact information (M and P; M blocks all my attempts to get PтАЩs contact data). We part, I have a massage and then return to Bangkok.
