It seems that traffic planners are the same the world over .... twats!
Who the hell is the idiot that decided to turn on the traffic lights in Pattaya at the junction of Thapphraya Road and Pattaya 3rd Road this morning? For no apparent reason, the traffic lights were activated, stalling the usually perfect traffic flow and backing up cars and busses to the top of the hill between Pattaya and Jomtien. Possibly the reason may be to avoid accidents, but knowing how these things work, we are more likely to see frustrated drivers speeding up to get through a changing light and creating more trouble.
