Cannot seem to find much information about Angeles City and Subic.
Thinking about going in November to March, instead of to Thailand.
Is it worth going to?
Anything interesting happening.
Any long term rentals by the month, if I find it interesting.
Where are the areas in town?
Weekly rentals (hotels and guest houses)?
Safe to use your room, or rent a short time hotel?

Agreed, I have recently returned to the Philippines after a 6 year break and find I will not be returning again because it's just not anywhere near as good as it once was and in many aspects has gone backwards. Thailand is a much better and nicer place overall.
