I have nothing but bad experiences with them. Somehow I think that they feel superior to gogo boys, for whatever reason. Usually they aren't my type anyway, but I was pretty blown away by two of them in the past and in both cases things didn't pan out.

It might be me but I just feel some kind of arrogance coming from them.

Very much so. About two years ago I offfed a boy fron X-Boys twice, 1000 Bht both times. Next visit a few months later he was working at Dave man Club and he quoted me 2000 Baht. Serious inflation.

Sir,

RE: Coyote Dancers.

I would never take one of these boys off.

Quite apart from the price hike which previous posters have alluded to, I feel that it's a blatant rip-off in terms of false advertising.

I have watched many wildlife TV programmes over the years - often presented by the excellent Mr David Attenborough - and whilst I have seen Coyotes doing many clever things, dancing is not one of them.

In fact, the way some of these boys stand aloof and look around, they are more like Meerkats than Coyotes.

Personally, I would not patronise these establishments - it only encourages them.

Yours sincerely

I do agree there is a type of arrogance within the coyotes - and they do to tend to think that they above gogo boys in the pecking order
-But i think its important to point out this -- for many/some coyotes ( more so at Nab) it is just a job -and are not available to any farang waving a few baht at them --mabye some of the perceived arrogance stems from that ?? :dontknow:

Ie -i know one boy 3.5 years -knew him from Xray where he was working as coyote ,then he moved to Nab, now he is at Idol --in all that time ive never seen him/or talk about take an off -but ive heard him complain about how difficult it can be to fend off the advances of a customer in the club (Asian customers seem to be the worst in not wanting to take no for an answer )

Ive off a few coyote in my time and i cant say i found them any different attitude wise to a boy in a bar-- -i have never had any complain re tip etc (note to myself -stop paying so much lol )

They can get quite good money esp if they are able to wheedle coyote drinks from all us poor drunken farang
Dave and Nab operate different systems (dave is more of a brothel/so Colmx is more of the expert there 5555 ) )-but in Nab i believe the monthly wage is 12-16000 -not inc any cash tips they get nightly

There is also a bonus system in place - ie up to 120 coyote drinks a month = 30,000b

Coyotes working in some of the places i know in Bkk are in the main like that as well --ie not available for sale (although they ARE really if the price is right and if the connection is good between him and you !! )

A guy i spoke about on here before- who after living with me for over a year then returned to his home and family giving up Pattaya and its vices-- ,im afraid after 5 months at home he has again returned to Pattaya(home life too boring/mama too strict ) -and has just started as coyote in Nab--
Il see if he develops any new found arrogance working as coyote !!--He is about as far removed from arrogant as you could find :tongue3:

I have one experience with offing a coyote boy (from X-Boys Bangkok), which was my most expensive off (500 Baht off-fee and 1500 Baht tip agreed in advance, for short time!), but it was worth it. Can't say anything bad about him. In fact, the coyote dancing in X-Boys Bangkok is one of the reasons why I visit this bar once each holiday. And the coyote boys in ICK disco are fabulous! (Just watching, I don't think they are off-able, as ICK is a pure Thai for Thai disco.)

I kinda like a boy to have a little attitude (street wise) as long as it doesn't dominate his personality. It sets him apart from the usual gogo boy type and shows confidence in himself. Hard to explain the look it can give a boy. It can't be easy for a boy to offer himself every night without getting an attitude.

Christian --you liked the ICK coyotes ???
-- my own Bf had been raving about the ICK coyotes for so long when i met him first (he had had sex with 2 of them he said !! ) - and-that they were so hot etc compared to the Pattaya coyotes (and i didnt ask which two he had been with lol )

So i was expecting to see very attractive guys there the first time i went -i was v disappointed with what i saw on the stage (and for subsequent visits )
I did however like the soda water pouring at ICK --fun to watch

They are not officially offable my guy told me --but its Thailand and plenty of rich older thai guys go there so im sure anything can happen :bounce:

And i wouldnt agree when you say ICK is a PURE Thai for Thai disco -farang are few and far between there but -plenty of guys available to hook up with if you are in reasonable shape :):):) !!

OK, probably a stupid question, but somebody has to ask.

What is a Coyote boy? :dontknow:

We all know what a gogoboys is, but I have never heard of a coyote boy.

Coyote Boys are the boys who dance or are supposed to dance vigourously usually on a pedestal around aa club. Not a go go boy.

Supposed to dance yes !!!--not als the case -- i was watching one coyote guy in Dave last week and the poor guy looked like he was almost asleep !!

And the coyote manager hauled him over the coals for it by the look of the conversation that was had later !!

In Nab (dont know about other clubs ) you are just told to buy some sexy underwear and are put at the back of the grouping for the first few nites --no formal dance routines/instructions -just let it flow lol --

I really must agree.

And so what if these boys dance with a little more energy? Well, if you want them to dance with you back in the Loom, good choice. When I get them in bed I don't need any attitude. I want him to love me...you know what I mean :bis: A447 said it in another post. I want to get the feeling that my partner enjoys himself too, be it true or not.

Martin made a good point too, if they are just there to dance and not in the sex trade, it might be hard to fend off suitors. Yes, we (and with that I mean I) can be quite persuasive and arrogant in thinking that all Thai boys are for sale when we (i again) are drunk.

But, I'm for a boycott of the coyote.

Yes, I like the ICK coyotes, it's the best coyote dancing I have seen so far. However the interruptions of the music by the DJ to make announcements are horrible. I don't understand what he says and the coyotes seem to stop dancing for half a second. I estimate 1 % of the customers in ICK (and adjacent discos) are Farang, I didn't pay attention to rich older Thai guys. I have been there several times and didn't hook up, but sure, it must be possible, the main objective seems to be drinking, dancing, socialising. DJ station is much more hook up friendly.
