Girl Bars on Walking Street

I am visiting Pattaya on the 13th of may and one of my straight friends it coming along (Pet Hetero or Pet Het as I like to call him). He is a 28 year old very attractive guy and I suspect he will be more interested in going to walking street than in hanging out with me and being groped by the bar boys.

Are the girly bars the same as the boy bars in the sense that they are host bars and you go in have a few drinks chat up the girls? My friend is curious.
He is a nice guy, very professional. Any recommendations on where I should take him?

I do not know about "all" but I used to bring my boys into some of the girlie bars on Walking Street for a treat. The ones I ventured into were either dancing in mini thongs and some were even nude dancing on poles and all sorts of erotic sights for the straight guy. Yes it's the same where you can call off the girl for a drink and chat her up and take her upstairs or out for a good time. The boys loved it because they usually can't get into these bars unless a farang is with them. Reason? Probably because Thais don't have so much money to blow as farang is my guess.

What I loved about these bars is that several of the people around the bar working were very cute young boys! As my boys were gawking and playing with the girls I would call over one of the boys and put tips or those bonus ping pong balls down hs shirt (by ping pong balls, a bucket for 500 - 1,000 baht and throw the balls. The girls all dive for them and turn them in for 20 baht each) anyway I would put tips down the boys pants or shirt or give him a handful of ping pong balls. The girls would go crazy because , well obvious, you are in a girlie bar playing with the boys. They are very amused! The boys usually are very shocked and I can rarely remember a time where after one or two genrous tips, the boy would sit sown and drink with me and give me his phone number to call! :snorting: :snorting:

I Recommend the Peppermint GoGo in Walking St. They have male waiters some of whom are very cute.
Your str friend can watch the girls dancing topless in thongs whereas you could chat to a waiter and maybe get his telephone number (as described by daboss).
The girls will go with young handsome guys for less money than with the average punter.

Pretty much the same as boys. You have to talk to the person you are trying to get him. My experience was that it was the same for my boys.

To pay or not to pay is a tricky one. I decided a long time ago that I rather pay, for whatever problem I have with self esteem or dominance, or whatever else. It takes away a lot of stress during meeting a guy or any other time during the date.

A friend of mine always refused to pay and he was also in his mid twenties, 7 years ago BTW. He would always say straight up "I'm not looking for a pay date" and as far as I know always got away with it. This direct approach seemed to work for boys, girls might be another matter.

But, and again I'm referring to boys here. It's not often that I could detect a difference in boys who would go with me for the money and boys who just wanted to have fun. The workers are just that good at what they do. So if it's only for a day or even a few, I wouldn't mess around with finding a serious girl. If he's looking for love..well, of course that's a different matter.

I don't know why but I always have the feeling that the straight scene is very different. Aren't offs much more expensive in straight bars?

i think the offs are the same generally but in my experience the girls may want and expect a bit more then the usual 1000-1500 - like everything depends on the girl I guess and what you agree before ( if that's what you chose to do), I know I at one point found myself with a beauiful girl once in pattaya and for various reasons * too much viagra and it was a girl :-) couldn't come for ages ( no point beating about the bush there :-) and the poor girl really had to earn her money, when done I gave her I think 1500 baht ( for short time) and she went balistic !! I instantly thought "shit girls must be different here" and gave her another 1000 to shut her up - it didn't christ she half screamed the place down as I'd made her break out in a sweat basically and should pay more ( to be fair it was worth every bath he he) but I was tired and done by then so chased her and she literally went down the hallway calling me all the cheap charlie bastards of the day ( baring in mind she'd just got 2500 baht for short time!! ) but as I figured I'd never see here again I went merrily on my way laughing at the thought of it.

And re whether your friend pays or not, like you I'd rather just pay and be done with it and then you both know where you stand and you're in control of how your night pans out, as as we both know I think whether you pay "in the hand as a one off thing" or "dont pay" - we all end up paying anyway somehow whether it be in bar tabs, dinners, shopping etc etc so it's really all just semantics after that I guess, but the one plus point is the drinks cost in girl bars is usually way lower all night than gay places ( no offence Neal I'm not think of your bar specifically there or anything :-) so whatever you spend on one hand you save in the other - especially if out for a full all night session.

As you guys know in BKK there are plenty of those girlie "massage parlors" where you choose the girl you like in the "aquarium" and then full service is rendered in a private room, including body massage (literally massging you all over with their bodies and parts:)). I think all the fees charged were 2500 BHT (the fees were payable to the shop upfront), all inclusive that was. I have to qualify that was perhaps 4 or 5 years ago. I did not venture into any since then; obviously it is typically not my cup of tea. lol.

Yeah I agree Rolling Stone - however I seem to recall I pulled her out of some line up in a go go show or something and you're right I think she did think she was something special - although to be fair to her "she was" and that's why I bothered as I do vividly recall "oh I have to fuck that" just out of curiousity to see "was she" as good as she looked - and as I said god love the poor girl she really had to work for her money and she got it in just about every way both she and I could to get me off - and eventually she succeeded - but only after her putting in a lot of physical effort I seem to recall lol.

I think he can go to one of the dance clubs after 1am and meet some "regular" gals that are not "money girls". I took my 26 handsome nephew to Insomnia and he was able to meet some hot numbers. The women had carreers working in offices, tour guides, and such. True, they were looking for a hot farang to date hoping this would blossom into a long term romance.

To be fair that was more when I first started coming to Thailand and the girls were SO much prettier than any I'd seen before so it was more a scientific experiment sort of thing to see were they are good as they looked ( they were :-) but as the years have gone on I find myself generally only bothering with guys now ( although that may be out of sheer laziness more than anything else I suspect lol :-)
