Hi i will visit Padang and Medan soon.
I'm looking look for information on gay meeting places (bars, discos, cruising places, etc...)

selamat datang, mas. This is Batak and Minangkebau country-kristen mostly. There are no ''regularised-gay listed'' places there-as about anywhere in Indo out of JKT/Bali tourist ghetto. Nor will there be many disco or bars. But any disco/dance hall will have the usual supply of lone, single young lalaki2. But that does not mean no fun-the major part of the fun is that you need not worry so much-they will find you- any single western male is prime bait to be chased after asap.
If that does not likely for you: any of the new shopping malls, the alun2 (main field in centre) will have plenty of interested-if even only to ''prektis my ingrris'' young males-maybe even females too.
Try to fit in Bukittingi-some 60/70 kms east of Padang (which was heavily damaged in a quake 3-4 yrs ago).
