Sorry, not GAY THAILAND, but I am sure someone here can help me ........ I have downloaded a torrent of a Norwegian movie ...... in the file that was downloaded is the "avi" of the movie, which plays fine with Norwegian dialog with no subtitles ... there is also a folder downloaded called "Subs" which contains a file called "English.srt" ........... what do I do to get the movie to play with the subtitle activated?

Many thanks.

Download VLC player from: www.videolan.org (http://www.videolan.org). Install the player. Make sure the .AVI file is in the same folder as the .SRT. Click the .AVI file and it will play on VLC. If you right click in the main window, there is an item called subtitle where you can select English.

Hope this helps.

If you are using VLC media player you can also drag and drop the srt files into the player while the avi file is playing and it will automatically show the subtittles. Alternatively go to the Menu click Video->Subtitle->Open and browse for the file
