Ambling up the soi from Happy Place last night with one of Neals hot bodied boys in tow we came across a most interesting sight. A group of Russians and Arabs had got together and were playing a game. They had lit a bonfire and were taking it it in turns to leap over the naked flames. Every time someone had to leap they would pour some spirit on to the fire to make it bigger.
The faces of the Thais was priceless. Totally contemptuous. If it had gone up it could have taken the whole of (mostly wooden) Boyztown with it.
