BKK-Songkran gay party.

Was ploughing through endless lists of thai gay sites-to check and found on one an announcement for a big happening gay Songkran party-notable of all places in ZEN-that recently reopened deptmt.store in the torched by reds WTC/Central World, Ratchprasong. From 13-15/4.
Look for yourself on www.gcircuit.com (http://www.gcircuit.com), in english. Many DJs. Advised hotels are all in the 3000THB+ range. Looks to me like aiming the Asians market-but who knows-maybe it may form some alternative for that dreaded songkran wildwatercircuit. THis only to mention it-I have never seen any previous similar events.

Is there any chance you will be in attendence ?? -its something that myself and friends mite have an interest in as we will be in Bkk at that time

I will be visiting at this time, and will probably stop in for the novelty factor. Some thing different....

Anybody else been to one of these previous events? I'd like to here your comments

Are they well run?
VIP tickets??? Are they worth anything extra?
Prices seem steep for Asia.... Do they really out on a special night or another night at zen?
How many farangs? anybody older than 25 there.. (40 something white dude here)

Any advice would be appreciated.

am back ''home'' now-in a springy Europe.
This is what I found in some other mag about it:
it is not new, 3d time (confirmed by some Singy's on trevvy)-cost is a whopping 3.000 for THAI and 4.600 THB for foreigners (I guess incl Singy's)-in advacne, for the 3 days. After 11/4 price goes up to 3.900TH/7.200/frg. There are also VIP-passes with VIP-area and special gift. Via gcircuit or via thaiticketmajor.
Side event: Bear, bath & beyond- in the new SOFItel, BBB-pool, 900 bt, apr 14, 15-21.00, furry chest optional?

Any info on the VIP Tix?? Worth the extra money? Buys you space aga seperate bar?
