For anyone wanting to go to, or thinking about Phuket, we've JUST got - http://www.nickysgayphuket.com - this site up and running. It's been a bit behind the others as we were waiting for a reliable contact there. We now have one and they've sent us all the information.

Hello Nicky-always nice to see that smiling face of you greeting people on boards.
You most likely know about the other listings sites-gays seem to have some tendency to make new ones all the time. The prob with most seems to be that new places get in but old and closed ones never removed- I went through one the other week and saw BKK-places that were torn down some 6-8 years ago.
I know of sites like dragoncastle (has also the old thailandout-which used to be far better), dreadedned (specialises in old and longsince closed places), gayscout (very new-looks like am attempt to get that Spartacus guide uptodate relying on free notes), some of the boards like this (also gaytingtong-also hopelessly outofdate in most).
The free giveaway mags also attempt to-like out-in-thailand, max/variety/Desire, thaipuan. All very incomplete.
Then the Thai ones-that mainly only do advertisers; Gthai, gindex, tmm-society, thaimassageboy, etc.
Samui and HuaHin have their own well maintained sites-simply tack into to those.
Probably the best one is mangosociety (in engl: go to forum-scroll down and find the listing-click on to see if it links-many are broken) which also has a google map with m2m-msg places-sadly now hidden behind log in, for which you need to write Thai. However, mango also lists dozens of places long since closed-click on to their forum and read the Thai. Why they keep that on is a mistery for me.
Some longer running gay places also exist in
Haad Yai-far south, GL-sauna and some 3-4 gogo/hostbars
Udorn Thanee- gogo/hostbars
Khon Khaen- 2 gay sauna's and the usual ThaiforThai student drinktoomuth joints
Khorat-had 1 sauna-but is reported raided and closed by police late jan-as it offered illegal massage extra.
Some -older and a little recent-reviews and decriptions can be found on that other board, of which I am unsure if it may be mentioned-it is very much 21+: crsg-fr-s..x. You have to read all the long threads about these places to find the info.

Thanks for the info. I too know many of the sites get out of date. With Pattaya, we have a rep on the ground to check things out almost daily. He personally goes to each of the main areas once a week and checks them, so they never get too out of date. (apart from the late night discos, which are after his bed time - awwww blesss)

As for the other areas, we also have our reps, but they work for other businesses and are not always totally reliable - Bangkok is the worst at the moment.

If anyone ever sees anywhere that has closed/opened and is (or isn't) on our list PLEASE tell me and we'll rectify it. I desperately need info on the places out of the 5 main centers, and so if you feel like PM'ing me the details of any of the places you mentioned in Haad Yai, Udon etc, I'd love to get them. Always knew that it was a struggle, but you just have to read our weekly newsletter to see we try and stay on top of the situation. If ever we feel we've lost the plot and the sites are getting out of date, they will be closed, rather than left to moulder in cyberspace!

Is this job voluntary or paid? If paid, where can I apply? I can do late night discos as well, count tattoos on bar boys, check cleanliness of toilets, temperature and noise level in the bar, whatever you want.
