2 day trip

Hi everyone
I will be back in Thailand , Pattaya in May for 4 weeks again, My question is !
Is there some where i can go for a few nights with a boy, the opposite way from Bkk
i will be going to Bkk for a weekend but was looking at the map of Thailand
i was thinking of going the other way,
Say get a car or driver and drive for a few hours more south of pattaya.
is there a place where i can go, rent a place or nice hotel or beach house
in a nice area with beach and maybe a few nice resturants.
the thing is not too far, it would be only for a few nights
to get me out of Pattaya and change of Scene

I can recommend Koh Chang for a couple of days. Went there about 3 years ago with a boy and had a wonderful time. Enough to do to keep both entertained.

did not even know or hear about that island before.
Can you recomend some where to stay, there seems
to be a few resorts on the island.
Did you bus there then ferry or drive ???

I stayed in a bungalow on the beach at KC Grande Resort. Nice quiet area but easy walking to bars and restaurants. We did a one-day boat trip to 4 or 5 islands with snorkelling off the boat. Great fun. Enjoy!

We took a mini-bus and the ferry - worked out fine.
