In a thread on gaybutton there was an announcement that All of Me was to open 4 new massage rooms upstairs complete with showers .

I think this is a great idea and long overdue move into trying something different.

One of my earliest memories of Bangkok was the Albury Club where I was taken to have coffee and a bite to eat and watch whilst the boys worked out in the gym, which comprised half the ground floor area.

Now my memory might be at fault but I recall there was a sheet giving details of what the boy was available to do. It was very specific and maybe included prices for specifics.

They all wore numbers and only came across to the cafe side of the room if invited. I found they still had a website and I assume it is still open.

I drew attention to thaimassageboy website where they have photos of all the massage boys available in almost 20 saunas in BKK with their website in 4 languages, English,Thai,Chinese and Japanese. Good to see someone at last trying to tap into the Chinese and Japanese gay tourist market.

I note that Funny Boys, maybe A Bomb and a few beer bars are now advertising on Sawatdee. If the owners of bars like those and say Splash and any others could get together, create a website like thaimassage with updated photos of who is available, then the bars might have a good tool to fight back against gayromeo. I personally like to see a boy in person before making a committment, the hit and miss of GR only appeals when I am feeling lazy

While in theory it sounds good, I think we all know in actuality it won't. The reason GR is successful is because they are not trying to promote one's bars boys over another etc. It is the same story that bars don't like other bar owners starting magazines and advertising in them. They fear that the magazine or forum will promote their establishment over theirs and that all they would be doing is helping the other guy. I just don't see that as a work in progress. Good to come up with new ideas though. That's the way things don't get stale.

Well maybe it is a big leap for small minded businessmen , so maybe lets downsize the idea

There are 3 established massage houses rather than the small shops, Blue House ,Royal House both in Daynight near Tukcom and Smart Relaxion in Second Road near Boyztown. If I owned one of those three I would try to beg borrow or steal to get my place accepted for advertising on thaimassageboy.com There is not one listing for Pattaya and when you consider the number of gay men , both locals and tourists that visit this site daily, making them aware there
is a similar place in Pattaya and here are the boys that work there, would be my priority

The first thing that impressed me with this site there are no massage places in what some are calling Bangkok Boyztown .Soi twilight and sois 2,4 and 6 Silom. It could well be they have tapped into a market of Thais, expats and gay tourists that have no interest in go go bars around Silom. The question I would ask is do these tourists in particular know about or visit Pattaya.

If All of Me is successful, then opening for longer hours rather than Sunee hours is next on the cards. It would not surprise me to see one or more of the go gos in Pattayaland soi 1 follow All of Me if it succeeds.

The thing that would be of concern to me if I owned a standard go go bar is , the massage bars dont have to be in the established gay areas

To be sure some of the massage bars in the thaimassageboy website might not be doing better than most of the beer bars that are in Sunee.

To the poster who sent me a PM "do any Gayromeo boys speak Japanese or Chinese?" I replied no more than in Pattaya bars and go gos.

There are many chinese thai who are gay. all you have to do is look for them. maybe manager. there is chinese gay sauna in chinatown. japanese not know
