We are happy to report on the successful, Christmas-week fundraising dinner held on Tuesday night at the luxurious Bistro Oscar -- the spectacular new restaurant in the Poseidon Hotel <http://www.bistro-oscar.com>. There were 39 attendees who enjoyed a scrumptious, multi-course meal served up by the Bistro Oscar folks, followed by TAKE CARE!!'s trademark Lucky Ticket Draw with generous vouchers and other surprises from many of the venues which participate in TAKE CARE!!'s HIV/AIDS prevention efforts. There was also an auction of a WOW!! 10,000 baht voucher contributed by Thonglor Clinic <http://www.thonglorclinic.com/male> on Thappraya Road -- a few steps from Bruno's Restaurant. The ever-popular B-Boyz provided another of their awesome, traffic-stopping performances in the soi in front of the restaurant. TAKE CARE!! realized 26,500 baht from the Lucky Ticket Draw, the auction and donation envelopes and from a share of the cost of the meal. These funds will provide about 2,500 safer sex packs distributed at more than 40 venues around Pattaya and Jomtien. Friends who were unable to attend can join in the fun (although after-the-fact) by going to the TAKE CARE!! web site <takecarepattaya.com> and poking the PayPal button. Contributions of support can also be made locally to any of the members of TAKE CARE!!
