Why is it that when a gogo bar has performers they hide away the gogo boys? It's as if the gogo is closed down until the fat lady(boy) lip-sync's.
I can imagine a bar that still has some guys out and on rotation during the show. And those that want to use show-time to take a break can use that time to do just that.
You know... There has to be a way for bar owners to make use of sites like Grindr. I imagine that when you are in the mood and open the Grinder app, you could see a hot guy online and it says he is less than 40 feet away from you. You click on his profile and then it says he is #44 at Joe Blows bar now waiting to be offed.
Many tourist come to Thailand and don't know what their options are. They don't know the area, they are probably on guard after feeling they were taken advantage of after soon arriving. If I had a bar I would have little printouts on napkins or even cards offering Lunch Buddy Services to customers at a set price. The price could be lower if the bar selects the guy to spend a sexless couple hours with him the next day that will show him how to use the baht bus's, How to hire a motorbike taxi, how to find the gay beach and how to eat like a Thai. The guy can pay the bar at the time of the booking with the assurance that he need not pay one baht more outside of covering the expenses of his lunch guide's food, drink and travel on the baht bus and Motorbike.
Oh! And How about doing a blue light special similar to what Kmart use to do? At any given time a blue light would go off and a siren would play and then they announce the special! "For the next 15 minutes all boy beers are 50 baht!... Or Buy 1000 Baht Credit for the night for 800 Baht to be used during that night only. Or a sexy dance contest every hour.... For every guy that buys a gogo dancer a drink, they will get a ticket to be drawn at the time of the sexy dance. 2 winners will be drawn and each one set in a chair with their hands tied behind their back and 2 different guys can do a sexy dance around them. The audience can choose who the winner is. Heck... I guess the bar could sell tickets at 50 baht each to win the chance to be the lucky guy in the chair. The winner of the dance should get to keep the money. http://youtu.be/Qj32Vhma6Tg
Another thing that can earn a bar loyalty from its customers is by being as honest as the day is long and offering a fair deal. I don't think the bar has to offer the cheapest prices, it should simply offer fair prices. I never understood why buying a manager or a worker a drink would cost more than if you simply ordered a drink and drank it yourself. The bar is in the business of selling drinks so why put speed bumps in the way of selling them? And the worst thing for a bar to do is to allow a customer to unknowingly agree to buy them a drink only to be charged sometimes double or triple the price of a standard customer drink for the privilege of having a manager drink a beer you agreed to buy them.
Okay... I know I am just rambling on... But I had a few thoughts in my head that I wanted to get out.... I am trying to think of a way that the bars could make use of all that PRIME SAND, BEACH and GUYS. There has to be a way to capitalize on it. I imagine a big tent to put on a show. A bonfire, freshly cooked food, live entertainment of some type. Some friendly contact games to get the guys to be relaxed and social with the customers. I guess with some customers being not so mobile the only game they could participate in would be some sort of musical chairs where the young guys would circle them till the music stopped and they would all try to find a farang lap to sit on.
It would be a lot of fun to try to find a way to play the dating game at a bar. One farang picked at random who agree's to go on a date with the guy he chooses and he will have to pick from 3 guys he can't see but can ask them questions. It would be too funny if he ended up picking the ladyboy! :)
Oh... That's right.. I was ending my blabbering
