Here's a link to Accor Hotels ( owner of Sofitel,Novotel,Mercure, Ibis etc) Some great bargains that need to be booked this month for stays from 11th Dec onwards..Just checked some of the better Novotels in BKK and available for $50 per night etc. Ibis/All seasons in BKK, some are showing at just over $20 per night...To get the 50% deal you have to be a loyalty club member (A club). To join is quick and easy and free. Stays must be from 11th Dec but must be booked now.
Sofitel not part of the sale. There are some MGallery hotels in BKK which in my opinion are equal in quality.

I've just been informed that there will be Accor Supersale for this year-end. The terms & Conditions are as follow:
When booking one of these offers, the customer agrees to have read and accepted the following conditions:
This offer is valid for reservations made:
- between 17th November and 25th November 2011 for A|Club members,
- between 19th November and 25th November 2011 for ACCOR newsletter subscribers,
- and between 23rd November and 25th November for the general public,
- prepaid online at www.accorhotels.com (http://www.accorhotels.com) http://www.accorhotels.com,
- and applicable to all stays between 11th December 2011 and 12th February 2012 at participating hotels.
- The 50% discount granted exclusively to A|Club members applies to the public rate with no conditions for the dates booked.
- The 40% discount granted to non-A|Club members applies to the public rate with no conditions for the dates booked. Payment must be made online by credit card at the time of booking. Upon booking, if the "Super Sale" rate is not available for all the dates requested, another public rate will be suggested automatically on the rate screen. Offer cannot be changed, cancelled, exchanged or reimbursed after booking. The offer cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or special offers.
- Prices given are per night for single or double rooms and exclude breakfast. Exchange rates are given for informational purposes only and are non-binding. Exchange rates are only confirmed upon booking (if payment is made in a currency other than the hotel's currency, exchange fees may apply).
- Offer valid at participating Accor hotels, subject to availability at time of booking except some dates set by the hotels.
- A|Club point bonuses may vary according to the A|Club general terms and conditions.
