View Full Version : Walking street archway's lighting.

May 8th, 2006, 00:41
Walking street committee received a better fix for its archway's lighting.

Mayor Niran Wattanasatsathorn gave green light for 50,000 baht budget to the walking street society for replacing lighting system on the walking street entrance's archway. The society said the lighting on the entrance's archway never worked properly and it cost a lot of money to fix each time. The society proposed the town earlier for a better solution which mayor Niran and board of councils agreed upon. The new system has been finalized and the money is ready, but since Telephone Authority of Thailand is upgrading its main line in South Pattaya area, the plan to replace archway's lighting system will have to wait. The town said it will also install a transformer in walking street and this should improve the performance as well as keep up the appearance of the famous street.

The famous "Keeping-up-Appearances" Thai transformer . . . sure to beautify.
