the small village of MOCLINEJO in Andalucia, about 150/200 kms inland from the overcrowded Costa del Sol, thinks of getting an impulse to its bad economy by proclaiming itself gay-in a local referendum to be held jan. 12. A nearby village of Juzcar painted itself all blue and won the scene of a movie set for the French-cartoon the ''schtroumpf'' (no idea what the english call them-those funny all blue lilliputters with white caps).
Houses should be painted pink and there would be a new urbanizacion (new settelment) of 4/500 houses/bungalows for gay couples. There would be a cruising park and the usual bars and sauna. this could double the current population-and hence the local tax base.it would be the very first self-proclaimed ''pueblo gay'' in the world (really? was not there a same trial some years ago in Thailand-somewhere near Khorat?).
