For all our friends wishing to take part in Monday night's Auction, we wish to let you know that the auction will begin at 8pm.

There will be an early viewing for auction items, also on Monday, from 5pm until 8pm for those wishing to inspect the available items.

A first announcement July 19th, one showing a poster July 29th and one reminder a day or two before doesn't seem excessive to me.

I suppose the initial thread could have been bumped, but it's for a cause (Take Care) most members would agree is a worthy one, being put on by a friendly place.

I wish them great success with the auction. Wish I could be there to join in. Have fun, all! :cheers:

Yeah, but come on. Good cause or not, you already have the privilege of a highly-visible STICKY thread up the top of the forum, which is still stuck there for everyone to see. Plus another normal thread further back... Then you start a THIRD thread? Why not start a fourth and fifth thread to flog this one event too?

In any case, good luck and hope you sell all the paintings.
