Stumbled across this quite lovely short film taken by tourists on the Chao Praya river and side klongs of Bangkok ... in 1964.
Not a mobile phone glued to a Thai ear in sight :blackeye:

On my first visit to Thailand in 1969 is still looked the same as the video. Pattaya was quite a bit smaller and not so developed. In those days Americans were especially catered to by the locals. I'm sure that we all have special memories of our first visit!
