Silom Serene Hotel Bangkok

Has anyone actually stayed at this hotel? Is it gay or "gay friendly"? What is the policy toward visitors to rooms? Generally what is it like? Any advice would be appreciated.

Moderate, small business hotel next to Bangkok Bank off Silom Road. Small pool. Not gay. Not sure about visitor policy; I expect it's not a problem there.

I stayed in Silom Serene last year and was not allowed to bring back a friend to a room. They are very strict. Only if you check in together. As it's a small hotel they know their customers. So if you want to bring back a friend and he will not check in with you at your arrival, better choose another hotel.
Another thing with the hotel is that the rooms to the street side can be pretty noisy in the morning after 7 am during the week.

I stayed there too........ the staff weren`t over friendly but the rooms and everything else were immaculate.
