I stayd there too, and I am not really surprised that this has happened. There is only one staff member at the desk , and the soi is almost deserted at night.
Good thing that they caught the scumbags. :cheers:

I find it a save hotel . I suggest close the front door and open only for guest in the nighttime !

I hope Jaap and his crew get over it soon .

More violence , we also have or part in Belgium in the last months !

I think for most of us, we are taking notice because all the violent crime is happening in places that we all frequent. If this was random crime around the far reaches of Pattaya then we can sit back and say that it is average crime.... But when it is as concentrated as it seems, it is not so easy to brush it off. :homework:

Police took 2 robbers back to the scene of robbery at the Flamingo Hotel in south Pattaya on 4th May to reconstruct the robbery for the case. 2 robbers, Nobpadol MePream age 25 from NakornSawan provinces and KajornSak Sreewong age 30 from Uttaradit province, said they had no money so they decided to rob the Flamingo Hotel that day. The 2 had a utility knife and a baseball bat with them when they went in and forced the 24 years old Amnard PreamSungNeurn to open the safty deposit box. The 2 robbers hit the cashchier man with the baseball bat in the head causing cut wound to the cashchier man. Police arrested the robbers not very long after they were reported of the robbery. The 2 robbers were arrested while riding the motorcycle that they used in the robbery. Police stopped them and proceeded the arrest on Pattaya 3rd road heading towards central Pattaya. The robbers took 2,200 baht from the hotel.
