That's a fact. Not an opinion.

Maybe it has something to do with a lack of Ethiopians visiting!

Hardly any Mexicans either so that can't be it.

When I was in Ethiopia I did not like the local cuisine.
When I lived in Washington, DC, I did not go to the Ethiopian restaurants, and did not see many people there.
Now when I go to Thailand, and in particular Pattaya, I would not go. I believe that is the primary reason there are none is because there is not a real demand.
French, German, Italian, Mexican, etc. are in demand and therefore there are restaurants that are open.

Ethiopian food is massively popular in DC, regardless of your personal taste. Is the cuisine big in Europe as well?

Pattaya lacks any good Ethiopian restaurants

That's a fact. Not an opinion.

Sorry, but you cannot say that Pattaya lacks any Good Ethiopean Restaurants, whether you think it is a fact or otherwise.

As there are NO Ethiopean Restaurants in Pattaya how can you say that Pattaya lacks any GOOD Ethiopean Restaurants?
It is just illogical. You could, of course, say Pattaya lacks Ethiopean Restaurants, but that wouldnt wind up the Board Members which is all you are trying (unsucessfully) to do.

The matter was discussed on Thai visa and the only known Ethiopean Restaurant in Thailand is in BKK.
Look here...
http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/995 ... ge__st__40 (http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/99555-hidden-ethnic-restaurant-wonders-of-pattaya/page__st__40)
Post no. 46.

So you may care to amend your statement to say something like...
"There are no Ethiopean Restaurants in Thailand, exept in BKK, but as I I haven't been there, I cannot pass judgement on whether it is good or not".

OK, why not amend it to say, ...

"There are NO Ethiopean Restaurants in Pattaya Good or Bad" ?

Where is the evidence that there are no GOOD Ethiopean Restaurants in Pattaya?. There is no such evidence.
There cannot be as there are no Restaurants.

Where is the evidence that there no BAD Ethiopean Restauants ... there isnt any... because there are NO Restaurants at all.

Why are you talking in Riddles?

Obnoxious as I may have been on these recent food topics, the reactions to me, much much more obnoxious. Especially that Bird Cage dude. He's totally over the top, sounds violent.

Well, if you really want Ethiopian food, may I suggest Ethiopia, and it is not in the Orient.

I am really pissed off that I can't find any good Gabonian food in Pattaya! Fucking hell! I am forced to make do in my own kitchen with ingredients I must import at great expense. The indignity of it all! If a Gabonian restaurant doesn't open soon, I am warning you all, I will be leaving Pattaya for good! You can consider that final! Ya hear? I'm fucking pissed off about this!

This is a fact not just my opinion.

I have been to several of the places you listed. They are all shit. Not a single one is worth the trip when you are in DC. How can you be so ignorant and an idiot to post such a load of crap.

The United Nations International Famine relief agency has standards for Ethiopian food gruel and none of these comes even close to meeting the minimum standard of fly and other crunchy insect bits in the gruel ratio.

If you want authentic Ethiopian famine food you need to go Addis Ababa and I can recommend some nice places where the dead flies and other insects bits in the food give it an authenticity not found in the shit place recommended by other posters.

I have already stated the facts about the Ethiopian restaurants in DC. Or are you backing away from your position that opinions are facts?

The secretary of state knows shit about food. She is a politician/diplomat. Were you two at the same cooking school together? Is that how you can vouch for her food credentials? Just curious. Did you and miss hilary win the golden mac and cheese award at your last job for the most innovative use of processed cheese spread?

Those darn clintons are good at everything.

Zed's is not listed in Washingtonian in the 100 Very Best Restaurants for 2011. I used to pass it going to the Thai Embassy, but never saw anyone in it that I noticed. I cannot find a review of Zed's.

It is not far from Thai Coast, which I like. But I must admit, I eat to live and do not live to eat. Food is not that important to me.

You mean genuine Ethiopian gruel topped with flies and insect parts is not an adequate substitute? I had no idea.

Maybe Narakmak can point you in the correct direction. He is the worlds foremost expert on all foods both foreign and domestic as well as the winner of the bronze macaroni and cheese award for the most innovative use of processed cheese spread in a greasy dinner.
