Police had a long interview with David Cettewell age 42 from England, friend to the victim and an interview with Miss Siriporn Supatta age 24, ex-girlfriend of Steven Parkinson on afternoon of 3rd May, hours after her ex-boyfriend, an English man was outrageously killed on the road. Steven Parkinson age 47 was killed by 4 teens on 2 bikes around 4.30 am. on 3rd May's morning, while riding his motorcycle back to his home at 10/16 Moo 4 in Pong area. Steven Parkinson had other lady, Miss Jittra KetKaew age 32 with him. Miss Jittra KetKaew told police that Steven just picked her up from Marine Plaza on walking street before they were heading to his place. Miss Jittra, a beer bar girl, said, they were approached by 4 teens on 2 motorcycles. She said they told Steven to stop his motorcycle or they will shoot him. Steven took no notice and rode on and that was when the teen fired 4 gunshots into him and killed him. Miss Jittra said then the motorcycle fell and the 4 teens got off their motorcycles and robbed all jewelries and money from her and off the body of Steven Parkinson before fleeing the scene.

Miss Siriporn Supatta, the ex-girlfriend also gave information to the police, saying that she and Steven were in relationship for over 2 years before they split up recently. Miss Siriporn said she moved out from Steven's house and now renting her own room at Chokdee Inn on Soi Baokao in central Pattaya. She said they were about to reconcile their relationship. Miss Siriporn said Steven had a house and a large piece of land near where he was killed. Miss Siriporn, the ex-girlfriend, said Steven never had problem with anyone.

New information uncovered in murder of English man in Pong Sub-district.

Some new information has come to light regarding yesterdayтАЩs story regarding the murder of Mr. Steven Parkinson from England which may suggest that this was far from a random shooting and may have been premeditated.
Pattaya City News monitors and sometimes contributes to the many Pattaya related chat forums on the internet and thanks to a board member at Thaivisa.com the case has now taken a new twist. He quoted a news article from the Pattaya Mail from September 2004 which involved the victim. He had apprehended one of two men who had stolen his gold necklace. Mr. Parkinson gave chase and detained one of the men in Soi Beokeow. The other man escaped. The arrested man was a 16 year old called Wallop and was charged and imprisoned for the crime.
We forwarded this information to Mr. Barry Kenyon who is the British Consulate here in Pattaya who in-turn informed Interpol and the British Police who are working closely with the Thai Police to solve this murder case. We understand that the Sister of the deceased is now in Pattaya and Mr. Kenyon is taking statements from Friends who are convinced that this was a pre-meditated murder disguised as a random robbery. As soon as we receive any further information on this story we will bring it to you.
