Pattaya to Laos flight

I read that Lao Air was flying from Pattaya to Vientiane every Friday. But there is no mention of this on their website. Is the flight available or was it an idea that crashed?

Perhaps you are thinking of the story in the Pattaya Mail (http://www.pattayamail.com/travel/direct-air-service-between-pattaya-laos-takes-off-238) at the time. Asking whether it was "an idea that crashed" in the context of a story about flights is an idea that may not attract those who don't share your rather "black" sense of humor. Given that Swampy Airport isn't that far away from Pattaya, and the sort of people who might take the flight from Pattaya are visa runners looking for the cheapest option to renew their visa, I wouldn't be surprised if the idea quietly faded.
