This is kind of my new thing in case anyone's interested.

The Digitour is a touring act that includes some of the most popular original youtube musicians. The lineup changes somewhat depending on the stop to include local musicians with a youtube presence, and also to allow core cast members to fulfill performing obligations elsewhere. The first leg ended up in my current home town of Fort Lauderdale. Florida.

I was lucky enough to attend and I took the opportunity to stream the entire show live on ustream (about 4 people watched. lol! This is my ustream: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/robert-muldoon)

I am currently editing the video into individual songs and uploading them to youtube. I have 2 up so far, both by Dave Days. If you are into upbeat pop-rock a' la Green Day I think you will appreciate Dave Days. This is his youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/davedays And these are the two live song videos I have uploaded from him on my channel.

Yes, I know its crappy video quality. It was taken with my Android phone so I could ustream it live. Next event I'll use a real camcorder. I think I managed to capture some good raw energy here though.

David Choi didn't play Fort Lauderdale :sad11: Maybe next time. And Mystery Guitar Man, too!

... my current home town of Fort Lauderdale. FloridaAs I recall, a large number of American gay porn movies give Ft Lauderdale as a location. But perhaps that's a new sideline for you, Spike? I didn't go much on the place the couple of days I was there in 2008. Two cute boys in the Borders bookshop as I recall. I had a hooker I found on Craigslist come over - overweight, I'm afraid. I sent him away.

When I really like a song, I have habit of looking up amateur covers on YouTube.

This guy, Joseph Vincent, has done some great covers and even got to appear on the Ellen DeGeneres Show...

That Borders has sadly closed down recently. I did meet Sammy Case once here.

Nice production. A little too syrupy for my taste, though.

A.J. Rafael is a favorite of mine. This is his cover of Let it Be by The Beatles with Alex Goot (A.J. is the Asian one ;))

Also J.R Aquino:

David Choi:

And, of course, my favorite, Rusin Hieber (lol):

The David Choi one is produced by Wong Fu Productions, the same guys who produced the official music video for Dave Days "What Does It Take" song (live version in o.p.)

Latest Dave Days song I've uploaded on youtube from the Digitour is entitled "Olive You". It's a slow ballad, so it shouldn't disrupt your pacemaker or anything too much. :rolling:

Hey, that's a great Beatles cover!

I like some of the violin/piano covers done by Eric Wuest...

I forgot to mention that the drummer for the entire show was Ricky Ficarelli. You can't really see him in my video as he is obscured by blinding light, much like a celestial being. :angel7:
Ricky plays drums along with records on his youtube channel, which sounds like it would be as boring as hell, but boy! Look at this kid go! One hell of a charismatic performer:

JDC Productions have done this awesome cover of this new Eminem/Bruno Mars song, Lighters.

The kid who raps Eminem's bit is awesome!

Check out the cover below (Black Eyed Peas - Just Can't Get Enough)... head and shoulders above Bieber's original YouTube break.

Love the official music video for this song too (not a cover)...
