thanks I think combat and dragoncastle, but I am just a boy from the bush and did not understand what either of you said.

dragoncastle you seem to know what you are talking about, is it worth going to see and is it hard to get there?

What didn't you understand about the venues and timings, both are well known in Bangkok and have authentic Muay Thai boxing matches. If you are just looking for cute boys with make up on go to a bar!

To better understand the culture surrounding this sport you can read about it here:

Just as in his Barbican posting fiasco combat has gotten totally wrong again. Did you even bother to watch the video clip?

The Nation has a story too. Apparently you need not be able to speak Thai. The photo on their main homepage looks hot. Surprised the run is so short.

Thanks to "once in awhile and fedssocr" for their links to the papers.

wow just this para from the Post makes me want to see the clip again and again

Eight years after Beautiful Boxer, Ekachai Uekrongtham is all set for another bout, this time for the stage rather than the silver screen. Instead of a muay Thai queen, the stage show _ his first take on directing a non-verbal performance _ features a line-up of "boxing boys" forming a wall of six-packs that may perhaps knock out the female audience.

Moreover, the muscular performers strip for weigh-in and bathing scenes, while giving the show sex appeal, portraying everyday life in a testosterone-choked boxing camp. Ekachai's extensive research in muay Thai camps then became the basis for scripting Boxing Boys, which premieres on May 10 at Muang Thai Rachadalai Theatr

I dont know why combat would post without looking at the link or viewing the video.Typical as to how things were going over the last few months.

Wow, it's directed by Ekachai Uekrongtham, who also directed the movie, Beautiful Boxer. Damn, this makes me want to see it. That movie was very well made. He's a talented Director.

Pity about the short run... Maybe they'll take it to other cities. They could charge more for a show like this in Singapore or Hong Kong if they can sell it.

It's even got the same actor from Beautiful Boxer!

Professional kickboxers in the show include Asanee "Art" Suwan, who played Nong Toom in Beautiful Boxer.

I think it is good to see but it does not start until May, So I have not seen it. To get to see the show, you are better for booking in advance at thaiticketmajor.com. To go there use MRT (subway train) its very easy from Silom (station at corner Rama 4 and Silom) or most other area. Get off the train at Thailand Cultural Center, go to exit 3 and into Esplanade mall. Theater is on top floor.

The real thing!

Quite a few years back, there was an expat who used to have parties at his house in Pattaya, that featured nude wrestling by Thai boys. I believe he was quite generous with cash prizes plus the contest winner having his choice of the boys to fuck, or smoke him. From memory 2000 baht entry and free drinks.

There was betting on the side and a lot of competition amongst the guests to get boys for some bedroom wrestling later in the evening.
