Is it called the "Good View Restaurant" in Bangkok? Looked at its website but it only mentions its Chiang Mai restaurant (Google Maps says there's one in BKK and CM).

Has anyone eaten at Nahm Restaurant in Bangkok? Any thoughts on it?

No, but I have some of their bathroom fittings in my apartment.

I haven't been that far down Charoenkrung. There is a local bus that goes down that far though. Maybe on my next trip in June, we will have to investigate.

As Bangkok is my favourite place in Thailand just ahead of Hua Hin, I am always on the lookout for places to eat. We usually stick to places that aren't to far from our hotel which is around Saphan Thaksin or Surasak - Sathorn but since this is only one district over from us, we shall put it on the list.

Cheers Alan,
Krobbie

all that zooming in and out in the video made me nauseated. Hope the food there wouldn't.

It was well worth the 15 to 20 min taxi from Sukumvit Rd ,the waiter was a bit thin with crooked teeth and a funny hair style , but the waitress had a nice ars and firm looking breasts :8( . The prawns were so fresh as was all the sea food. :thumbleft:

... the waiter was a bit thin with crooked teeth and a funny hair style , but the waitress had a nice ars and firm looking breasts :8( I'm afraid you're disappointing clapped-out old queens like combat with this sort of response to my original question about the Cute Factor of the staff, Alan. The S&P chain seems to do a nice line or more-or-less cute waiters; it's a pity their food service is so generally appalling unless you're eating alone (the one at Panthip Plaza is particularly bad). As for places called "Nahm" (other than hong, ap- or me-) there's a pleasant little Cafe Nahm opposite the Diamond Tower apartment complex, near Chong Nonsi BTS, down a little unnumbered Soi next to a 7-11 (enter from Naratiwas - I believe it's near an intersection with Silom 7). A friend took me there before Songkran. They do Thai food and pasta - I had spaghetti carbonara for 165 baht. I believe they close after lunch on Saturday so are not open on the weekends generally, and on weekdays close about 9pm - just in time to wander off to those rather louche go-go bars off Silom 6/Naratiwas 1. Their waiters are female or otherwise unremarkable apart from the one with the semi-Afro (and that's the only remarkable thing about him).

Good View have a restaurant in Vientiane, and one in Pattaya. There is a Good View gay sauna in Rangsit, but not part of that company :sunny:
