And tomorrow it starts! Well, it actually started on the 8th, but the water fight starts tomorrow, and lasts until the 15th. Anyone else excited? Honestly, I can't think of a better way to have a good time, or of a better stress reliever than Songkran. No worries, and the entire country is in it together, so go out and have a good time.

It'd be unfathomable to have something like this in Canada. Where a good majority of the towns and cities in the country basically grind to a halt for four days, while everyone has a huge water fight. Can't wait! Anyone else feel the same?

And let's take a little break from the regularly scheduled bitch fest SGT offers, and try to lighten things up a bit:

Another Pom whinging about Aussies... :blackeye:

My favourite Canadian comedian is Russell Peters.

I love this scene bargaining with a Chinese salesman:

Yeah, honestly don't blame you. If I was in Bangkok, Pattaya, or Phuket, I'd probably feel the same. Well, probably not, I'm just trying to be sympathetic. :)

I'm already seeing posts on other forums though about people boasting because they hosed old ladies with water, or mixed chillis in with the water, etc. That's pretty pathetic. Up here in KK it's quite a bit more tame. Still a great city-wide party for four days, and you can't go anywhere without getting drenched, but everyone seems to keep their common decency in check.
