I will be visiting Chang Mai over the Songkran holidays and was considering staying at the Lavender Hotel.
I like the fact that it has most the amenities at the hotel and one may not need to go to far out during the water activities.
Your thought and opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Spent a few days at Lavender Lanna Hotel (Sri Tokyo Hotel).
Booked through Agoda and got a standard room on the top-floor.

Room is basic but clean, service is ok and staff is friendly.

Hotel occupies not only gays, but also families and mixed-couples.

The only con is the breakfast........a meager ABF is what you get; only alternative is a Thai rice soup.
On holidays/weekends there is a Thai breakfast buffet and your ABF ingredients must be gathered from there.

WiFi in the room is available (free) but quality is so-so.

Bathrooms are spacious and clean; water-pressure is sufficient.

If you're interested: under the hotel is Powerboys, a gogo- annex show- annex karaoke-bar.
Lovely shows and lovely boys (good mix).

Parking is available and from the hotel to the Night-Market by Tuk-Tuk is approx. 100 Baht and 15 minutes.

I'll be in the area too, but i booked Taraburi Resort in Hang Dong. Far enough away from the Songkran festivities.
