View Full Version : Social Life: Phang Nga, Khao Lak and Phuket

March 20th, 2011, 14:39
Professional, white male - mature-age, is seeking to get in touch with a local gay or femme (soft) type, or social group, to enjoy my down-time in the area.

I don't get to Patong much - and I don't really like it - I am looking to meet someone in phang Nga or the area of Kaho Lak in order to have friends to hang out with and perhaps try out something more exclusive. (LBs are also fine - as I appreciate your femininity and sense of humour)...

I am an older european male - 50 and am not shy in preferring friends who are in their early - mid-20s. Not too many bad habits, generally keep pretty busy, and enjoy relaxing with good friends. All South-East Asian nationalities are fine with me - as longas you like coffee in the morning, and a few drinks over dinner. HGet in contact, please? :alc:

Sorry... I'm definitely no ladyboy! :occasion9:

Jacklipton, who used to post here lived and worked in Phuket for a while... he might've been able to help with what places are good for meeting local gays.

Two threads on Phuket gay life...

2010: gay-thailand-f9/gay-phuket-dying-quickly-t19035.html (http://www.sawatdee-gay-thailand.com/forum/gay-thailand-f9/gay-phuket-dying-quickly-t19035.html)

2009: gay-thailand-f9/phuket-anyone-been-there-lately-t18806.html (http://www.sawatdee-gay-thailand.com/forum/gay-thailand-f9/phuket-anyone-been-there-lately-t18806.html)

... seems it's mostly commercial sex gay venues.

I was in Khao Lak last year - there is a disco, basically a little shack just off the main road in the town - its the place where all the hotel workers socialise, and its worth a trip as I met a few gay guys there - however I was with my Thai friend and so we only found out about the place because he had asked a local waiter - otherwise I wouldnt have known it existed
there is a drag bar in town , just on the main drag, about 5 mins walk away from the restaurants etc - they will tell you the name of the disco - they were all there after their show

Thanks... sounds like... well, I am not sure what it sounds lke - but I guess One jsut turns up, and then takes it from there...
I appreciate the information - it would be good to know about this 'shack' - its not the one with the huge great 'eagles head' sticking out of the facade, is it?.. There is also a place called DIVA - which might be promising...

Sounds like someone is in serious need of a sense of humour transplant. :dontknow:

Every survival kit should include a sense of humour.

Cheers,

George.
