Broadband best buy in Thailand?

I live in Jomtien and have had broadband by Ji-Net for my TTT line. It cost Bt950 a month last year with two months free. I am just about to renew and they have quoted me Bt850 a month with 2 months free. I have been reasonably happy with the service ADSL and I get about 200 KPS most of the time. Is it a good buy? I read of cheaper prices in Bangkok.

Maybe ES can come up with a new service via one of his URL links, where anyone can subscribe to 'Elephant band' as might offer more than just megaband width! Maybe free erotic pictures delivered automatically to your mailbox too?
Best of all, now it seems that everybody can be an automatic 'Golden Member' (hitherto the accolade of jinks) by throwing in a few bucks as a substitude for loyalty of posts, maybe subscription to elephant band might bring with it the new elite title of Platinum Member.

So what happened to the original concept of displaying seniority levels based on posts... remember that 'Karma' thing that got caught up in it? And if I've got it wrong I can always buy everyone a beer, or is it donate via paypal now? I haven't since the recent suggestion made any donation to this board although I did pay my way on the Sawatdee ES board... as many regulars although not all did.

I would suggest that the majority of posters and those that read - who would wish to be considered as would be posters, click on this site because it's primarily regarded as a non commercial concern with the interests of the gay community in or visiting Thailand foremost at its heart. Tamper with that premise and I feel sure you'll get a lot less clicks if you appear to blatantly commercialise for want of a buck. I'm not saying you are now Spike, but I don't think you've far to go so I'll just say it anyway.[/u]

I don't go away just because someone who bears a grudge suggests I should. For the record, I've been around quite a while. Since you seem to take store by quantity, may I point out that I've more posts to my credit on this and previous boards than you. True, I haven't made as many posts as you have recently... recent work commitments haven't allowed. But I would say of you that quantity isn't a substitute for quality or content. Unlike some, and that includes you Baziel just in case you weren't sure, who post drivel it seems to increase their number of posts and hence their 'status' (oh sorry, forgot... you're a Golden member now!), I tend to post when I have opinion or something meaningful to say. You may agree or disagree, but at least I've provoked that option.

So what have you to say Baziel about the content of my last post? Often, if you want to attack the poster, it's more skillfully done whilst attacking the content of their post, rather than calling them names.
Did the subject of my post provoke an opinion? What thoughts do you have on the possible commercialism of this site? What do you think about subscriptions, advertising, and how other members of the Board would regard such?

I get CS Loxinfo's service. The price depends on the speed. They currently have a special - pay for 12 months and get (I think) a 10% discount. I guess it's a bit like UBC TV's standing discount - pay for 12 months get the 13th month free

I use CAT Hi net drive by T-Speed direct off CAT at 999baht a month plus tax. 2 Mps is offered but rarely achieved, today i am gettiing 1062 kps upload and 620 kps download, goes ok unless your an online gamer or big loader of programs. No problems other than poor or no lines at times TIT.
