That's awesome! They had to pay damages to the gay couple they discriminated against. 1,800 pounds each (3,600 pounds total)... add on legal fees and that's probably close to a month's takings they've lost. Tossers.

There's another very similar incident, which occurred at this B&B - swissbedandbreakfast.co.uk - reported here:

That means nothing, it's a little bit like sticks and stones blaa, blaa, blaa. The main thing is the gay couple won the case which was about sexual discrimination. if they had lost then it would have been yet another set back for sexual equality. It's not yet clear whether the B & B couple will appeal the decision of the court so that could be another story. As things stand at the moment they are playing the "Poor Christians can never stand up for what they believe in" card.

It was also reported that a lot of gay couples have now booked holidays at their B & B to see if they try to pull the same trick again..Pink Power.

LOL... That's great.

Easy choice for them. Have a livelihood, pay the mortgage, keep the kids in school... or just be anti-gay bible-bashing Christian f*ckstick and lose it all.
