I really do not see why I need to save time.
I can say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I can say Merry Christmas and leave off the Happy New Year for another time.
After Christmas I can just say Happy New Year.
At my age, what am I going to do with the extra 2 seconds?
I am also the person that does not talk in abbreviations. I do not go to BKK, I go to Bangkok.
I find myself spending my time looking up what people mean when they only use abbreviations, or sometimes I do not, I just ignore it and ignore them.

Have a Christmas quickie.

Luckily, it takes longer than 2 seconds.
