I could only stand 40 seconds. That's one of the shittiest songs I've ever heard...

There is a saying here that the English will laugh at anything (think Richard Stilgoe) - obviously "Shortbread" is not Scottish at all but an imposter, a charlatan, a four-flusher, a masquerader, a mountebank, a pettifogger - either that or he's from Edinburgh.

This "song", being totally devoid of any musical, artistic, or comedic merit whatsoever, proves the point.

It reminded me though about going to the doctors last week.I said, "Doctor, I've got a problem, but if you're going to treat it, first you've got to promise not to laugh."

Just before singing that song, he specifically says it's his "gay anthem". I like James Blunt, excellent singer. No matter how bad I feel, his music always makes me feel better.
